At Be Like David, we believe traditional drills do not equip players with retainable knowledge or purpose on the court.  

• Skill means problem-solving.

• Maneuver means action that serves a purpose.

We teach basketball through a philosophy called Applied Concepts.  Our lessons take any skill or maneuver on the court and give a concept to either solve the problem or use the maneuver with purpose. 

Basketball is 90% mental and 10% physical. This is why we use Applied Concepts instead of drills.
